The research departments ETHICS EA7446, LEM, and LITL are pleased to welcome the 40^th Journées de Microéconomie Appliquée (JMA) at the Université Catholique de Lille, on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 June 2024.

Every year, the JMA conference takes place in a different University in France, in a French-speaking country or in a border country. It brings together researchers, seniors, juniors, and PhD students, of any nationality, whose research contributes to the literature in applied microeconomics.

The keynote lecture will be given by Ghazala Azmat, Professor at Sciences Po Department of Economics. Her research interests are in the fields of labour and organizational economics, the economics of education, and gender economics. She holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics, is a Junior fellow of the Institut universitaire de France. She obtained an ERC Consolidator Grant, is the Co-Director of the CEPR Organizational Economics (OE) Group, and is member of CEP (LSE), CEPR, IZA, CESifo, EALE executive committee, and the EEA council.
